WordPress PDA plugin causing header output issues

If you have upgraded the PDA plugin in past 2 days you might run into header output issues which might break the operation of wordpress where ever header function was being used.

To overcome the issues please de-activate the plugin and upgrade the plugin to the latest version 1.2.6 and activate the plugin back.

This error was due to some unwanted junk character present in the beginning of the file. It was due to the editor issue which I had used to save the file and commit the file to the repository.

I am really sorry for causing this issue and sorry for the inconvenience  caused 🙂

Will Mozilla Firefox 3 set a new download world record ? In less than 45 minutes the download day is starting for Firefox 3 to start the count for breaking a new world record in most download software in 24 hours.

I wish them luck and I will download my copy as soon as it is released 😀

Gulfnews vs EMUG users about PC and Mac

There is an interesting debate going between Gulf news technical writer Scott Schuey and users from Emirates Mac User Group (EMUG) about the article published by Scott on 7th june 2008 about Investing in a suitable computer system.

The users of EMUG started to discuss about that article “Gulf News answers the Question Should I buy an Apple Macintosh instead of a personal?”

iPhone 3G not coming to Dubai any time soon

After watching Apple WWDC 2008 Steve Job’s keynote it is very evident that we will not get iPhone in this region any time sooner. In around 70 countries iPhone will be available during this year. One such country which does not get is United Arab Emirates. What is stopping Apple to expand their products to Middle. Every other company in the world is make U.A.E as their product’s distribution hub.

Seeing the performance of the application on an iPhone I am really thrilled to jump into Cocoa programming language. I am sure it is going to be a little hard to being with. That is there with all programming language. Why not give it a try..!!!

After hearing the new 3G iPhone there are so many number of people at my office who have an iPhone is ready to sell and to get a new 3G iPhone. It is mainly because of the new features like 3G, GPS, and enterprise solution it is offereing. I am praying so much that iPhone dev team comes up with jailbreak for the new firmware version 😀

Suggest better translation to Google Transaltor

Today I was browsing through a web page which was translated using Google translator. I noticed a new tool tip over each sentences.

When you click on the link “Suggest a better translation” you get a textbox to give a new translation of the sentence.

Google is learning translation from the users. The translation engine will evolve based on the user input over the time 😀
